I am proud to announce the return of the "Author Spotlight" articles. These will be posted approximately one per month and I can't think of a better way to kick things off than to meet Yezall Strongheart. She's a writer, does book cover designs, and a lot more that has to do with getting a self published book out to the masses.
Ms. Strongheart has multiple books on Amazon.com. Some of her short stories can be found on one of the many sites she is a member of. You can find her contact information at the end of this interview.

Q. Tell us a little about yourself that has nothing to do with writing or being an author.
I live in Texas, married to the love of my life. I have three children; I also have three furry babies.
Q. What are some of your hobbies and things you enjoy?
I am very into Asian culture and my house is filled with dolls, knick-knacks, ceramics, etc. I guess you could say I am a collector. I have a wedding kimono that I'm very proud of.
Q. What did you want to be when you grew up when you were a kid?
A nurse, thanks to reading Sue Barton books. How funny is that? I found out in the real world that it wasn't all about dating doctors, and that blood was involved. I said, that's it, I'm out.
Q. How and/or why did you start writing? At what age? Any special memories?
I can't remember not writing. I think I was amazed that through books you can go anywhere and be anything. I have always been a storyteller, sometimes it was a good thing, sometimes it was bad, it helped me lie. I entered a poetry contest and won first place, I never looked back.
Q. What project(s) are you currently working on? Why did you decide on this particular project? Do you have anything launching soon?
I am working on a space love story, Capt. Lanie Romein A.K.A. The Ice Queen. I never get to choose my projects, ever. They arrive in my brain via some crazy process, and I start writing. I just launched Restore Bring 'em Back Alive! a sci fi thriller.
Q. Do you have a blog and if so, what is it about?
I find it hard to blog. I couldn't tell you why. I am thinking about blogging a chapter of a new book, maybe like a serial release, on a weekly basis. I have a section of my website that I am adding short stories from myself and others. The list is growing and it's a wonderful way to get exposure. It's free to post and free to read.
Q. If you could say just one thing that you’d be remembered for after your death, what would it be?
The reality of it is, you remain remembered by those that love you for as long as they live. Unless you do something outstanding, historically, you pretty much fall into obscurity with the masses of other people who have lived. Having said that, I would like to be remembered as a caring, loving person. I would like a smile to be on the lips of those doing the remembering.
Q. How can you be contacted or found online?
I have a website, a Facebook page, but more importantly, I have a Scribd account where you can read free chapters of books I have published. I will also list my Amazon author page, all my books will eventually turn up there.

I Tweet, Twitter. What ever I have done or written, that's where you will find out about it. My new job is taking a lot of my time, therefore I have to market on a catch-as-catch-can basis. Hope to see you there!
