I have fallen in love. Of Moths & Butterflies is addictive! I hated having to put it down.
A young girl finds herself left with her uncle's fortune that she doesn't want but her aunts do. She runs away not only from her aunts' greed but also a past that leaves her doubting her self worth in many ways and takes employment well beneath her status in order to hide from the world. She is found by her family and since it will still be a while before they can get at the money, they arrange a marriage that will benefit all parties except the one who should benefit most.
This novel is longer than the books I usually read. I found it to be a great joy to read and was transported back in time to the days of Lords and Ladies. I was afraid with it taking place in the Victorian era there would be many references and situations from that time I may not understand but that wasn't the case. I found this novel to be easy to understand as the plot flows so wonderfully along with a grace and elegance that was easy for me to follow and understand.
I give this book two thumbs way up and recommend it whole heartedly.
